Let’s be honest: As a woman or menstruating person in this society, it isn’t exactly easy to grow up with a lot of reverence for your body, nor your cycle. In this spiritual-feminist podcast about menstrual wisdom and activism for our modern times, I share musings, reflections and conversations to make living as a cyclical being (ALL beings are cyclical, by the way!) in a world set up for linear progress more easeful for you. Let yourself be inspired to detox from the systems of oppression you’ve most probably internalised, so you can walk the spirals of your life with more confidence and trust in yourself and your gorgeous body and reclaim the superpower and ancient wisdom already stored in your bones! And no, you don’t need to have a uterus to benefit from this!

I believe that we all have a natural season (in our personal cycle and in the outer seasons) we feel most at home, most comfortable in. Listen on to find out which could be "yours" and how it will help you bring more ease into your cycle experience.
As women and/or menstruators, we transition all the time. Our whole life is about transitions, because we transition from inner season to inner season roughly every seven days, if not less. There is no permanence. But knowing that there is a rhythm over the whole cycle, and that you will have times when you feel more energetic and times where you feel more inward and times where you feel more creative and times where you feel more reflective, will allow you to go easy on yourself and not make yourself wrong for it, because it's just a natural part of life. And we can start using our personal cycle and the transitions that we move through as a practice ground for when life really throws us a curve ball and we have to go through a bigger transition. In this episode you'll find: -> a brief recap of the inner seasons/four main phases of any cycle -> how the theme of my natural season shows up in different areas of my life -> an invitation to ponder about what your natural season could be If you want to get to know your inner seasons and start tracking your cycle in a very simple way, you can find my free cycle charting resource here: https://lisa-jara.com/en/cycle-charting You can find the links and the transcript of this episode at: https://lisa-jara.com/en/blog/e6-what-is-your-natural-season
